Response to cassation appeal

The opposing party may file a response to the cassation appeal to the court of second instance within two weeks of receiving the complaint.If a cassation appeal is filed by the Prosecutor General or the Ombudsman, both parties may submit a response to the complaint.

After the deadline for submitting a response has expired or after ordering the delivery of the response to the complainant, the court of second instance shall immediately submit the cassation appeal and the response together with the case files to the Supreme Court. Two copies of the contested judgment with justification are attached to the case file
